Curbed Atlanta reports that development company Inland Atlantic wants to build a new apartment complex at the northeast corner of Glen Iris Drive and Ralph McGill Boulevard in the Old Fourth Ward. The project may include up to 217 units made up one studios, one bedrooms and townhome-style apartments.
GROUNDFLOOR, the first microlending community for real estate, has opened its headquarters at Atlanta Tech Village. This comes immediately after the company raised $1 million in seed round funding from angel investors including Michael Olander, Bruce Boehm, Mark Easley Sr. and Inception Micro-Angel Fund. The company selected Georgia as its new home to grow its business due to the state’s progressive stance on crowdfunding policies and citizen-backed real estate development.
Real estate company Homestead Atlanta has opened offices in Virginia-Highland at 867 Greenwood Ave. The principals are President Susan G Schlittler and Michael J Fischer Managing Broker, Vice President.
