The Buckhead Atlanta project was awarded the Urban Land Institutes’ regional Project of the Year Award during a ceremony Thursday night. According to BuckheadView, the project won out over four other Atlanta projects: the new North Atlanta High School, College Football Hall of Fame, 77 12th Street apartments and the Center for Civil and Human Rights.

Developer Oliver McMillan also announced that French fashion label Dior will open a two-story, 5,026-square-foot boutique in Buckhead Atlanta, which is slated to have its first stores open on Sept. 18. Dior’s first Atlanta location will be prominently located at Peachtree Road and Bolling Way. Construction is expected to begin this fall and there will also be more space in the parcel of land for additional retail and restaurants.
