Atlanta Police are looking for a pair of robbers who smashed their way through a glass door at Candler Park Market early Wednesday morning. According to Fox 5, the incident happened just after 3 a.m. on March 25. The suspects made off with with around $350 in cash and $5,000 worth of cigarettes.
The City of Decatur offers Neighborhood Clean-Up days once a year to allow residents to dispose of bulky items that aren’t normally placed in Pay-As-You-Throw bags. Each street in the city is assigned to one Saturday each spring, generally between March-June. Those Clean-Up days begin this weekend. More than 6,000 metro Atlantans have completed the Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) survey to help guide the development of its long-range plan for the region. If you are not one of them, it’s not too late. The survey remains open through March 31. The survey offers a chance for citizens to provide their thoughts on how technology like driverless cars and improved teleworking might impact the way we live and commute in the near future. It also asks for opinions on job centers and where the region might want to create new ones. The survey is available at www.atlantaregional.com/theregionsplansurvey.
