Two people were shot overnight while sitting in an SUV in Downtown, according to a report from CBS46.
Atlanta Police said the incident happened around 2 a.m. in a parking lot near the intersection of Trinity Avenue and Peachtree Street. The shooter, described only as a male in plaid shorts, fired several bullets into the SUV and striking its occupants. The man and woman hit by the bullets were listed in critical condition at Grady Hospital.
Police said they are unsure what the man and women ere doing in the parking lot in the early hours of the morning.
