Sandy Springs City Hall will close from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on April 21 for the funeral of former Mayor Eva Galambos, the city announced.

The city will open City Council chambers to the public during that time and provide streaming online coverage of the funeral service at Temple Kehillat Chaim. Those wishing to view the service but not able to travel can watch at  http://m.ustream.tv/channel/temple-kehillat-chaim1, the city said.

The funeral begins at 1 p.m. at Temple Kehillat Chaim, according to the city. In lieu of flowers, the family asks consideration of a donation to the Anne Frank in the World Exhibit or to a charity of one’s choice.

City officials also plan a memorial for Galambos later in the week.
