police-siren1Atlanta police are investigating a double shooting near the intersection of Monroe Drive and Eighth Street after a football game at Grady High School on Friday night.

According to WSBTV, a student leaving the football game was confronted by a group of black males who asked the student if he had a problem with them. One of the males pulled a gun and shot the student in the back. He is in critical condition at Grady Hospital. The other shooting victim was a motorist who was passing through the intersection when stray bullets entered her car striking her in the ankle and head. She is in stable condition at Atlanta Medical Center.
