Reports of intimidation and criminal activity have led to a state investigation into voting fraud in LaVista Hills, according to a report from WSB.
A Nov. 3 vote to create the City of LaVista Hills in North DeKalb County failed by just 136 votes. According to reports, voters were turned away from polling places and a memory card with votes was found unsecured.
The Georgia Secretary of State has called upon the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to look into the vote for LaVista’s cityhood.
More updates as we have them.
