A Nov. 3 vote to create the City of LaVista Hills in North DeKalb County failed by just 136 votes. According to reports, voters were turned away from polling places and a memory card with votes was found unsecured.

The Georgia Secretary of State has called upon the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to look into the vote for LaVista’s cityhood.
