A man riding a motorcycle died shortly after midnight when he ran into the back of a dump truck, police say.
Robert McCarthy was driving west on I-285 at a high rate of speed and his motorcycle burst into flames at impact, Officer Trey Nelson, a spokesman for Dunwoody police, said in a press release.
McCarthy was pronounced deceased at the scene.
