Screen Shot 2015-11-12 at 4.15.41 PMThe Transportation Committee of the Atlanta City Council is inviting the public to a series of town hall meetings to hear from the public in person and online regarding the on-street parking management contract currently held by PARKatlanta.

The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2, 6:30 p.m., at Atlanta City Hall, Council Chamber, 55 Trinity Avenue, S.W. (This meeting will be broadcast live on City Channel 26)

The meeting will also be streamed on the City of Atlanta’s website at (Click on the ATL City Channel icon in the middle of the webpage and click on the words: “Watch Channel 26 Live” located on the left of the screen.

Citizens are encouraged to submit their questions and concerns in advance or during the first meeting and 5 days after using various electronic modes:

The mayor’s office is working on issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for companies that want the city’s business in 2016 when Park Atlanta’s contract expires. The city could also take the parking management operation in-house.
