A Doraville woman has been charged with making the Dec. 15 bomb threat that temporarily closed down the Brookhaven Plaza shopping center on Peachtree Road, according to the Brookhaven Police Department.

Jodi Lee Kinsey, 25, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged with terroristic threats, BPD said. She was being held at the DeKalb County jail.

The Dec. 15 bomb threat was delivered “via electronic communication” to the Stein Mart store in Brookhaven Plaza, BPD said. The threat caused BPD and DeKalb police to evacuate the shopping center and conduct a search for explosives.
