The public is invited to a Dunwoody forum on Jan. 12 to give input on the city’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update to include development of new facilities, programs and services.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. in the Williams Room at the DeKalb County Library’s Dunwoody Branch at 5339 Chamblee-Dunwoody Road.
As the city updates its Parks and Recreation Master Plan, ideas and suggestions from community members is a key component to planning for the future, according to a city press release.
“Attendees and participants will discuss a series of topics and questions related to the city’s parks and recreation future. Your input at this public meeting enables us to collect valuable information to shape your parks for your future recreational needs,” the release states.
How did the new Mayor not realize that his Parks city hall is the same night as the Planning Commission’s meeting, which will include discussion about the new townhouses in Dunwoody Village? That is very ignorant and bad planning.
