
One of the four University of Georgia students killed in a car crash in just a few days before the end of the school year was from Dunwoody. A fifth student remains in critical condition.
Halle Scott, 19, of Dunwoody was killed in the two-vehicle crash on Wednesday, April 27, at about 9 p.m., according to a story in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Other UGA students were Kayla Canedo, 19, of Alpharetta; Brittany Feldman, 20, of Alpharetta; and Christina Semeria, 19, of Milton.
Scott was a 2014 graduate of Dunwoody High School, according to her Facebook page. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta at UGA.
Dunwoody Councilmember John Heneghan wrote in his blog that Scott was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and captain of the Dunwoody High School football cheerleading squad her senior year.
