The Fox Theatre has announced that the opening night event for the 2016 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival will be “Purple Rain” starring Prince. The screening is set for May 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for “Purple Rain” are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the show (plus applicable fees), and are available now at the Fox Theatre Ticket Office, online at foxtheatre.org or by calling 855-285-8499.
The full slate of films for this year’s festival will be announced soon, but will include a 30th anniversary screening of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” the Audrey Hepburn classic “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” and “The Little Mermaid” sing-a-long.
