Heritage Sandy Springs next month debuts a new author series called “Titles @ Twilight,” featuring writers with stories of history and the South ranging from Sherman’s March to the Sea to the history of baseball.

The series was inspired by the book “Sidetracked,” by Sandy Springs author Milam Propst and Jaclyn White, which mentions one of Heritage’s historic sites.

“With a mention of the Williams-Payne House, Sandy Springs’ historic farm house, we were immediately intrigued,” said Melissa Swindell, Heritage’s director of historic resources and education programs, in a press release. “Titles @ Twilight came out of our meeting with Propst, who will open our month-long program. Following her lead, local authors will discuss their books and their journeys through writing about Atlanta.”

The series will run Tuesday evenings in June, 6:30-7:30 p.m., in the Garden Room at the Williams-Payne House, 6075 Sandy Springs Circle. The series is free to attend, but RSVPs are requested at heritagesandysprings.org, mswindell@heritagesandysprings.org or 404-851-9111 ext. 2.

The series lineup includes:
