Our broadcast partner CBS46 reports that an unidentified male struck by an on-coming MARTA train at the Edgewood/Candler Park station this morning has died.
According to officials, the man entered the tracks around 7 a.m. and was struck by a train. The man died at Grady Hospital.
The incident caused serious delays on the east-west line with a bus bridge shuttling passengers around Edgewood/Candler Park station. As of 10:30, MARTA reported that service was returning to normal.
