Columbia Ventures has announced it will expand the Studioplex development on Auburn Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward with a 32,000-square-foot mixed-use addition that will include 19 townhomes atop restaurant and retail space. The property is located adjacent to the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail.
A parking deck for the expanded Studioplex is expected to be completed in November, then work will begin on the new building. A third phase will include condos built over office space at the Eastside Trail and Edgewood Avenue.
Also joining the Studioplex is a previously announced boutique hotel, which will sit on a narrow wedge of land at the intersection of Irwin Street at the Eastside Trail.
