Brookhaven’s ‘Paint the Park’ winners announced

All they needed was some paint, the scenic views of Blackburn Park and a lot of imagination to create some amazing art pieces now on display at Brookhaven City Hall.

The winners of the second annual “Paint the Park” event were announced at the Sept. 27 City Council meeting by Councilmember Linley Jones.

They are:

1^st place adult- Rebecca Ganz

2^nd place adult- Margaret Boylan

3^rd place adult- Laurenthia Mesh

1^st place child 8 & up- Haven Somerson

2^nd place child 8 & up- Sadie Ganz

3^rd place child 8 & up- Naa Adua Annan

1^st place child under 8- Victor Pelaez

2^nd place child under 8- Monroe Culbreth

3^rd place child under 8- Keegan Ludwig

Honorable Mention- Damion Tice
