georgia-voterThe Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections has reported that as of Tuesday, Oct. 25, 110,681 residents have taken advantage of early voting and that more than 22,000 absentee ballots have been processed.

“So far, we have surpassed the number of early voters compared to the same period during Early Voting in the 2012 General Election,” stated Richard L. Barron, Director of the Department of Registration and Elections. “We are extremely pleased with the turnout and hope that many ore will take advantage of the remaining 10 days of early voting. The Outreach locations at colleges and senior centers have seen a good turnout for the days they are open.”

Fulton County has opened 24 Early Voting Locations along with 12 Outreach Locations to provide residents a choice and more opportunities to cast their ballots. “We even posted a webpage that provides the locations, directions and a wait time based on the number of people in line,” stated Barron.

Residents are encouraged to visit www.earlyvoting.fultoncountyga.gov for help in determining which Early Voting location will be more convenient.
