The Atlanta Police Department has made an arrest in the May 31, 2016 murder of Bridget Shiel, two years after she was found shot to death in Oakland City Park in southwest Atlanta.
Atlanta Police Homicide investigators have secured arrest warrants for Christopher Spencer, 28, charging him with murder. Spencer is already in custody, serving prison time for the murder of an elderly couple in a home invasion that occurred in DeKalb County.
According to a statement from APD, homicide investigators pursued numerous leads over the past two years, eventually finding enough evidence to charge Spencer.
