To kick off Atlanta’s fruit season, Concrete Jungle will host their largest annual fundraiser, the “Spectacular Fruit Ramble,” on Sunday, May 19 from 3 to 8 p.m. During The Ramble, guests will explore the varieties of edible fruit growing in East Atlanta Village while enjoying a fruit-themed carnival and local libations.

Nonprofit Concrete Jungle recovers ignored, fresh produce growing in streets, yards and parks to meet health and nutrition needs of the city’s homeless and food insecure population.

The Ramble begins at 3 p.m. at Brownwood Park, where guests will check in and begin the family-friendly walking and biking tour of the East Atlanta neighborhood. Ramble attendees will enjoy an adventurous afternoon spent learning about the city’s fruit trees and sampling fruits along the path, such as serviceberries and mulberries.

The tour returns to the park at 4:30 p.m. for an evening of zany fruit-themed carnival games, food truck and drinks from Midway Pub. Concrete Jungle staff and board members will be on hand to provide information on upcoming volunteer and engagement opportunities.

General admission is $30 and includes two drink tickets (ages 21 amd up). Kid’s tickets are $10. To buy tickets, visit this link.
