Slow Food Atlanta’s 13th Annual Ice Cream Social. More is set for Saturday, Aug. 24.
A collaboration with Peachtree Road Farmers Market, this year’s event will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. inside Child Hall at The Cathedral of St. Philip.
This year’s theme, “Farmers + Chefs = Better Together,” will celebrate ingredients sourced from local farmers and purveyors. Cool down and vote on your favorite ice cream flavor created by local chefs and ambitious amateurs – all partnering with local farmers to bring fresh, summer ingredients into every spoonful.
Advanced tickets (available online here) are $20 for adults and $5 for children (5+) and include an all-access pass to samples. Kids four and under are free. Don’t forget to bring your own spoon!
