The Atlanta Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Atlanta), in partnership with Central Atlanta Progress and Midtown Alliance, will host free tours of the city’s most recognizable and beloved buildings during the third annual Open House Atlanta. This year’s event will take place the weekend of Oct. 19 – 20.
During the weekend’s self-guided explorations, attendees can also meet some of the people who design, build and preserve Atlanta, fostering conversations about how architecture sustains the city as a unique place to live, work and grow.
More than 50 buildings throughout Downtown, Midtown, and along the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Beltline Trail will be featured this year, along with a number of developments near Westend MARTA station, including Met Atlanta Lifecyle Building Center and a number of tenants at Lee + White. Sites range from sacred, faith-based spaces and historic landmarks, to museums, theaters, Fortune 500 offices, luxury residential communities, hotels and the offices of architecture firms.
