Dunwoody swore in two new council members during a Dunwoody City Council meeting on Monday.

Rob Price, the council member for District 2, and Catherine Lautenbacher, the new council member for District 1, both took the oath for City Council as well as the Dunwoody Public Facilities Authority at the Jan. 10 meeting. The Public Facilities Authority is made up of members of the City Council.

Lautenbacher, previously the program director for Leadership Sandy Springs, took over former Councilmember Pam Tallmadge’s seat. Tallmadge announced her resignation in June of 2021, and Villard “Ardy” Bastien served as the interim District 1 council member in her absence.

Price, who previously served on the city’s Planning Commission, will take over for former Councilmember Jim Riticher.

The city also re-swore in incumbent Tom Lambert, who will once again serve as the council member for District 3.
