Early voting begins on Monday, Feb. 19 for the presidential primary election at 36 polling locations in Fulton County and 15 in DeKalb County.

The early voting period will take place through March 8 with the primary set for March 12. During advance voting, residents can vote at any advance voting site within the county where they are registered to vote. You can check your voter registration at this link.

A valid ID is required, and may include a Georgia driver’s license, even if expired, a valid out-of-state driver’s license, any valid state or federal-issued photo ID, a valid U.S. passport, a valid employee photo ID, a valid U.S. military photo ID, or valid tribal photo ID.

Under state law, all voters who require assistance to vote due to blindness, disability, or inability to read or write may receive assistance from a person of the voter’s choice. That person cannot be the voter’s employer, an agent of that employer, or an officer or agent of the voter’s union.

In DeKalb County, a voter with a physical disability or 75 years of age and older, does not need to wait in line. The voter should walk to the entrance and a poll worker will assist them in casting a ballot.
