The Sandy Springs community is invited to attend a fentanyl awareness and drug prevention program on Thursday at City Springs.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15 at the Studio Theatre at 1 Galambos Way.

Retired DEA Special Agent in Charge Dan Salter, who is the current director of the Atlanta-Carolinas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Program, will join the city in making the presentation.

The program will include a discussion about drug trends and the fentanyl and overdose crisis affecting the community, state, and nation.
