Carvell Brown was arrested for robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Brookhaven on Monday, March 25. Brown is being held at DeKalb County jail on felony charges.

Brown did not show a weapon when he entered the bank at 3890 Peachtree Road. According to the police report, Brown passed a demand note to a teller, who provided the offender with a sum of cash, and then he fled the scene.

Brookhaven Police responded to the bank when an alarm was triggered during the robbery. At the scene, officers found the doors locked and customers waiting outside.

After Brookhaven Police Officers obtained a detailed description of the suspect from video surveillance, they disseminated a lookout to surrounding jurisdictions. The MARTA police department located and arrested Brown at the Garnett Station in Downtown Atlanta.
