Clinton “D-Billz” Dorsey

The son of a well-known Atlanta music producer has been arrested for fatally shooting his father at a Brookhaven apartment complex on Thursday.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Clinton “D-Billz” Dorsey, 48, argued with his son, Edward Dorsey, 22, at the ARIUM Lenox Park apartments on Gables Drive. The argument escalated into gunfire, according to Brookhaven Police.

Police said the father and son were arguing over a dog breeding business before the son retrieved a semi-automatic pistol and shot and killed his father.

The younger Dorsey has been booked into the DeKalb County Jail on charges of voluntary manslaughter and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Clinton Dorsey was known for working with artists such as Lil Baby, BRS Kash, Da Baby, City Girls, YFN Lucci, Fatt Sosa, VL Deck, Peewee Longway, Jose Guapo, Rich Da Khid, Khaotic, and more.
