From the beginning, the Punk Foodie at Ponce stall has been a pop-up for pop-ups. It has been an experiment for the Punk Foodie brand to realize the mission of bringing more awareness and opportunity to the unique and vibrant Atlanta pop-up scene And it’s been a blast over the last 6 months or so with well over 50 chefs popping up to serve up an almost an equal number of cuisines.
With that being said, we at Punk Foodie have decided to end the stall experiment and put our focus on other formats to achieve our mission. This means we will continue to evolve the brand and look to build on our growing catering, private dining, events (e.g. Punk Foodie Fest) and event programming. Also expect to see the pop-up finder app + newsletter to come back to life.
We so much appreciate our partnership with Jamestown and Ponce City Market and expect to continue to work with their awesome foodie centric team in other ways to bring the best of the pop-up scene to their properties.
In our final days at the stall, we will be featuring swan song performances from some of the coolest chefs (menus here):
- Friday: Pepper’s (Hot Dogs)
- Saturday: Dhaba BBQ (Indian Fusion)
- Sunday: Ruki’s (Ethiopian)
- Monday Lunch: Hardee Soups
- Monday Dinner: Beksa Lala (Polish)
A big thanks goes to all the chefs who have appeared in the stall and to the customers who have dropped by.
Hope to see y’all at the stall one last time. And remember…the stall is closing, but the mission continues.
