When Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta opens the new Arthur M. Blank Hospital in Brookhaven on Sept. 29, furry little creatures will run wild – digitally speaking.

Children’s is launching a campaign to display a Georgia forest-themed environment with animated woodland creatures inside the new hospital. Individuals, families, cities, and corporations can purchase native Georgia wildlife like butterflies, birds, squirrels, bunnies, foxes, and deer, and watch them come alive on a 17-by-30-foot interactive digital wall.

The feature will provide comfort and distraction to patients and families during their visits, a Children’s spokesperson said.

“We are thrilled to invite the community to join us in an innovative and playful campaign for Children’s Arthur M. Blank Hospital,” said Janine Musholt, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation president. “By donating, you are not just sponsoring a digital animal in our Children’s forest, you are creating moments of joy for our young patients and their families.”

Contributors to the Community Campaign will receive a keepsake package which includes a watercolor print of their chosen animal, a certificate of authenticity, and a personalized thank you note.
