Atlanta Police are investigating a shooting on Saturday night that shattered windows at the Invesco headquarters building in Midtown.
According to a preliminary report, officers responded on July 6 at 9 p.m. to multiple calls of shots fired at 1331 Spring St. Upon arrival, officers canvassed the location, but did not locate any persons shot or injured.
During the canvass, no shell casings were discovered, but investigators found several windows of the investment management company’s building had sustained damage from gunfire.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle, which first reported on the incident Sunday, said bullets hit eight windows in the 26-story building.
Multiple shell casings were later discovered by property management, according to a report by Fox 5.
