Moonlight cocktail bar will open Thursday, Aug. 8, atop the new Forth Hotel in the Old Fourth Ward just steps from the Eastside Beltline.

Located on the 16th floor, Moonlight merges mid-century modern decor and furniture with an Italian design aesthetic. The wraparound patio offers additional seating and views of Historic Forth Ward Park and the Atlanta skyline.

Look for cocktails like the floral and botanical-leaning Flyby with pistachio-infused gin and butterfly pea flower syrup or the Boom Box with rye whiskey and calvados.

While the food menu is still a work in progress, people should expect everything from caviar bumps and kampachi (yellowtail) tartare to deviled eggs, a lobster roll, and grilled cheese.

Moonlight is open to the public, Wednesday through Saturday, starting at 5 p.m.

Earlier this summer, Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Elektra opened beside the pool on the fourth floor of the hotel. The restaurant serves dinner daily, starting at 5 p.m., that includes mezze, kebabs, grilled dishes, and whole fish. Elektra also serves breakfast until 10:30 a.m.

Located on the ground floor of the Forth Hotel, Bar Premio serves coffee, tea, pastries, and salads and Italian sandwiches throughout the day.

Il Premio, an Italian steakhouse and piano bar located on the lobby level, will open in the coming weeks. Expect A5-graded wagyu and bistecca alla fiorentina on the menu as well as fresh pasta dishes and an Italian wine list.
