Kitty Dare Labneh Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2lbs whole-fat Greek Yogurt (Combination of cow & goat milk for best results, but cow works just fine)
  • 1tbsp salt
  • Za’atar seasoning
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 12 Castelvetrano Olives
  • Fresh dill

Directions:

  1. Layer 5-7 sheets of Cheesecloth inside of a strainer, on a dish or bowl, used to collect the liquid.
  2. Mix salt and Greek Yogurt.
  3. Wrap yogurt mixture in cheesecloth and refrigerate for 24 hours (after 24 hours the yogurt will change consistency to a spreadable texture; almost like cream cheese).
  4. Using the back of a spoon – spread the Labneh onto your favorite plate.
  5. Top with Za’atar, pomegranate seeds, Castelvetrano olives, and olive oil.
  6. Garnish with fresh dill.
