Pizza Jeans, The Ponce City Market pizzeria, is opening a second location at Citizens Market Food Hall at Phipps Plaza on Sept. 14. To celebrate, they will offer $1 “mall-size” slices of New York cheese pizza all day long. Stop by to check out their menu – which also includes calzones and sandwiches – starting at 11 a.m.
Hoping to get in on a reservation for the Heritage Supper Club at Bread & Butterfly? While September through November spots are sold out, there are still openings for Dec. 13. (As of press time.) The monthly tasting menu, led by Executive Chef and co-owner Demetrius Brown (pictured), celebrates the culinary richness of the African diaspora, offering a seven-course meal for an intimate group of four guests. Attention beer connoisseurs! Gwinnett Beer Week, presented by Explore Gwinnett, is happening through Sept. 14. Check out their website for locations, tickets, and events, including the inaugural Les Bon Festival at Good Word Brewing which will conclude the celebration.

It’s not a case of the Mondays over at Brookhaven’s Vero Pizzeria. Their new fall hours now include Mondays – which means you can enjoy their authentic Neapolitan pizza seven days a week. Take a peek at their weekly specials – spritzes on Sundays, half-off beer and wine on Tuesdays – and the launch of Margarita Mondays.
Take a tour of Spain on Sept. 19 with Buckhead’s Gypsy Kitchen. The five-course wine dinner will feature Olé & Obrigado wines, alongside courses of seafood, pork belly, and beef short rib. Seating is limited to 50; you can make reservations online here.

The Virginia Highland District Farmers Market is back! Beginning Sun., Sept. 15 at Virginia Highland Elementary, be on the lookout for fresh produce, artisanal goods, and handcrafted items from local vendors. The market will run through Nov. 17 and is open each Sunday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Sept. 20 marks the 18th annual Kirkwood Wine Stroll in downtown Kirkwood. Expect global wine samplings from over 50 local spots and a souvenir wine glass with your ticket purchase. Small bites from local restaurants and four stages of live music are also part of the lineup. Early-bird prices are still available, but tickets are expected to sell out quickly.
