The Ivy, a longtime Buckhead sports bar, will close on Roswell Road after 14 years. The bar closes for good following a New Year’s Eve celebration.
Roswell Junction food hall is now open on South Atlanta Street. Open daily, starting in the morning, for coffee, food, and, later, cocktails, beer, and wine.

Small Fry, the comfort food spot at Atlanta Dairies, will finally open on Dec. 6 in Reynoldstown.
Home for the Holidays, a holiday pop-up restaurant operated by some of the team behind supper club Bovino After Dark, is now open at Vine Club in Adair Park. Think a 1950s holiday card scene meets seasonal cocktails and a four-course tasting menu. Reservations encouraged.
From now until Sunday, 5% of sales from Chattahoochee Row’s Chicheria will be donated to Presents for a Purpose, a charity founded by owner, Juan Calle, that supports families in need. Plus, if you donate a toy valued at over $20 during their Toy Drive, you can enjoy complimentary chips and dip.

Reservations are now open for the Feast of Seven Fishes at Carmel in Buckhead Village. Starting Dec. 19 and running through Dec. 24, the three-course prix fixe menu features everything from lobster and truffle tortellini to a Basque cheesecake with huckleberry preserves for dessert.
The Grant Park location of Mellow Mushroom opened this week along the Atlanta Beltline. The prototype restaurant, created in partnership with The Culinary Edge, features counter-service ordering and a classic menu alongside new flavors available exclusively at this location.
Kilwins, a shop offering candies, caramel apples, fudge, and ice cream, is now open at The Collection at Forsyth at the intersection of Georgia 400 and Peachtree Parkway. For more updates check out their Instagram here.

Looking for a spot to watch the SEC championships on Saturday? Here are a few options:
- Pom Court at Hotel Granada in Midtown will air the Bulldogs versus the Longhorns in the courtyard patio with outdoor heaters and festive cocktails. Think mulled sangria or boozy hot chocolate options along with patatas bravas, fried catfish sandwiches, or house hot wings.
- Piedmont Park’s Park Tavern will host a watch party starting at 2 p.m. They will feature a full menu, drink specials, and game-day promos.
- Not wanting to brave the crowds? Tailgate in with to-go orders from VaHi’s Kinship Butcher & Sundry. Just be sure to reserve your freshly ground hamburger patties or brats before Saturday.
