MARTA will provide increased train service through Downtown Atlanta for three upcoming events: the Peach Drop on New Year’s Eve; the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Parade & Game on New Year’s Day; and the Polar Opposite Race on Saturday, Jan. 4.
PEACH DROP – Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024
Trains will run every seven minutes on the Red/Gold Lines between Lindbergh Center Station and Airport Station and on the Blue/Green Lines between Ashby Station and Candler Park Station. Extra trains will be placed into service to accommodate increased ridership after the celebration.
PEACH BOWL – Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025
Trains will run every seven minutes on the Red/Gold Lines between Lindbergh Center Station and Airport Station and on the Blue/Green Lines between Ashby Station and King Memorial Station. Extra trains will be placed into service to accommodate increased ridership after the game.
POLAR OPPOSITE RACE – Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025
Trains will run every seven minutes on the Red/Gold Lines between Lindbergh Center Station and Airport Station and on the Blue/Green Lines between Ashby Station and Candler Park Station. Extra trains will be placed into service to accommodate increased ridership after the race.
