
Noah Centineo, the Duffer Brothers, and Laverne Cox are just some of the names expected to appear at the 2025 SCAD TVfest.
The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) announced the lineup for the 2025 festival on Jan. 23. The festival, which is now in its 13th year, is set to return Feb. 5-7.
According to a press release, Centineo is set to receive the festival’s Distinguished Performance Award for his work in “The Recruit,” the Duffer Brothers (“Stranger Things”) will receive the Variety Showrunner Award, and Cox will receive the Impact Award for “Clean Slate.” Other honorees include the Lifetime Achievement Award for Hiroyuki Sanada (“Shogun”), The Hollywood Reporter’s Trailblazer Award for Uzo Aduba (“The Residence”), and the Lumiere Award for Sophie Skelton (“Outlander.”)
“SCADshow lights up Midtown Atlanta this winter with SCAD TVfest: the best of everything new-and-now on television,” said SCAD President and Founder Paula Wallace in the release. “Whether you want to see the latest new series before all your friends or you’re an industry insider scouting for new talent, SCAD TVfest, the largest TV festival at any university on the planet, delivers.”
Multiple shows featured in this year’s lineup were filmed in Georgia, including “Clean Slate” and “Stranger Things.” Other television shows that are expected to have a presence this year include “Agatha All Along,” “Grosse Pointe Garden Society,” “The Amazing Race,” “Watson,” and more.
The SCAD TVfest will take place at the SCADshow theater in Atlanta. Tickets can be purchased online.
