Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta announced the lineup of stage shows that will make up its upcoming 2025/2026 season.
Taking place at the Fox Theatre, the upcoming season — which runs from September 2025 through May 2026 — is chock-full of blockbuster premieres and returning favorites.
Headlining the roster of performances is the Atlanta premiere of the six-time Tony Award-winning show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which runs from Feb. 28, 2026 to March 21, 2026.
Based on the prequel novel of the same name, the spellbinding spectacle takes audiences back to the Wizarding World with groundbreaking effects and a magical adventure that will leave theatergoers in awe.
Joining Harry Potter as the other live show based on a major entertainment franchise is Back to the Future: The Musical, which speeds into the Fox Theatre on Sept. 23–28, 2025.
Just like the movies that inspired it, Back to the Future: The Musical tells the familiar tale of Marty McFly and Doc Brown, who have to use a time-travelling Delorean to fix the past — a feat they will attempt to accomplish while belting catchy tunes.
Other shows making their Atlanta debuts include the Tony Award-winning Kimberly Akimbo (Oct. 14–19, 2025); the literary-inspired work, The Outsiders (Nov. 25–30, 2025); along with the Alicia Keys musical, Hell’s Kitchen (Jan. 6–11, 2026).
Amidst a variety of new faces, the hilarious Monty Python’s Spamalot will be making its return to the Fox Theatre on July 21–26, 2026.
Inspired by the classic film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the musical medieval comedy has everything from killer rabbits to flying cows, French taunters, dancing girls and more.
Other highlights of the upcoming season are the 30th anniversaries of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (May 26–31, 2026) and Riverdance (Feb. 6–7, 2026), eight-time Tony Award winner Hadestown (Nov. 14–16, 2025), the critically-adored Six (April 28 – May 3, 2026), the Christmas classic Elf The Musical (Dec. 16–21, 2025) and more.
“The 2025/2026 season lineup is one of our most robust, show-stopping seasons yet,” said Russ Belin, vice president of Broadway in Atlanta. “It’s a privilege to once again bring such a dynamic slate of Broadway’s best to our city – including many shows that are still selling out in New York. The expansion of our offerings is a testament to Atlanta’s immense appreciation for the arts.”
