Te Quiero
Halfway Crooks biergarten, Summerhill

Sandwich pop-up SamWitch departed the Halfway Crooks biergarten at the end of December but will open in a new location later this year. Taco pop-up Te Quiero replaced it in the biergarten.

Boodle Fight
225 Rogers St., Pullman Yards, Kirkwood

Boodle Fight, a Filipino restaurant in residence at Brick & Mortar at Pullman Yards in Kirkwood, debuted in February. Led by Chef Dave Devina, the name refers to the Filipino tradition of communal feasts. The slang term for “kamayan” was coined by Filipino troops during the American occupation of the Philippines. Food is spread on banana leaves and shared family style.

L5P Diner
422 Seminole Ave., Little Five Points

L5P Diner, owned by Sean and Amber Germain, will open on March 2 in the former Little Five Points Pizza and Fellini’s space. The Germains, who also own Sean’s Harvest Market in Candler Park, will serve everything from pancakes and eggs to BLTs and tuna melts here. LP5 Diner will open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. but will eventually remain open until 10 p.m.

Kiddo’s No. Six 
Banshee, 1271 Glenwood Ave., East Atlanta Village

A new cocktail pop-up launches March 3 on the patio at Banshee in East Atlanta Village. Led by bartenders Haley Herebia and Zoe Sanchez, Kiddo’s No. Six pops up on the patio every Monday evening, serving a rotating menu of cocktails like a screwdriver martini paired with dishes and desserts such as Coca-Cola short ribs and a berry-laden shortcake. Kiddo’s No. Six is named for the “Kill Bill” movie character Beatrix Kiddo.

For Five Coffee Roasters
1105 West Peachtree, Midtown

Queens-based coffee chain For Five Coffee Roasters opened in a prime corner space on the ground floor of the Google building in Midtown.

800 Marietta St., Westside Atlanta

The ice cream and candy shop opened on Marietta Street on the edge of the Georgia Tech campus serving alcohol-infused ice cream and Southern treats like pralines and brittle.

3930 Peachtree Road, Brookhaven

The New Orleans patisserie known for its French-inspired desserts opened in Brookhaven in the same complex as C&S Seafood.

RReal Tacos
312 Church St., Decatur

A location of home-grown taco chain RReal Tacos opened in the former Ponko Chicken space in downtown Decatur.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants
7762 North Point Pkwy, Alpharetta

The first Georgia location of restaurant and wine bar Cooper’s Hawk Winery opened near downtown Alpharetta. Check out the menus here.

Savage Pizza
7 Jones St., Norcross

A location of the Little Five Points-based pizza joint opened in Norcross. Locations of Savage Pizza also include Avondale Estates and Kennesaw.

Nando’s Peri-Peri
5161 Peachtree Pkwy, Peachtree Corners

A second location of the South African flame-grilled chicken restaurant opened at the Forum in Peachtree Corners. The first metro Atlanta location of Nando’s Peri-Peri opened at the emerging High Street development in Dunwoody last August.

The Hangar by Chattabrewchee
3361 Dogwood Dr., Hapeville

The Hangar, from West Point-based brewery Chattabrewchee, opened in the former Arches Brewing space in Hapeville, the AJC reports (Paywall).

Arches Brewing
 2903 RN Martin St., East Point

Meanwhile, Arches Brewing relocated to East Point and the Atlanta Utility Works complex.

Bar Avize
956 Brady Ave., Westside Atlanta

The adjoining cocktail lounge from Avize chef and owner Karl Gorline will open beside the restaurant in early March for wine, cocktails, and bar food.

Tang’s Oriental
Politan Row at Ashford Lane, 4550 Olde Perimeter Way, Dunwoody

Asian pub Tang’s Oriental opens inside Politan Row at Ashford Lane in Dunwoody in March. The full-service restaurant, backed by Chef Stanley Wong and Clayton Parker, will serve a variety of Asian and South Asian dishes, including pork dumplings, yakitori, Thai lemongrass wings, a kimchi burger, Korean fried cauliflower, and samosas. Look for cocktails, Japanese beers on draft, and sake from the bar.

Feel Goods Pizza
Terminal South, 1160 Ridge Ave., Peoplestown

Neapolitan-style pizzeria Feel Goods Pizza will open this spring at Terminal South in Peoplestown. Backed by Andy Bibliowicz of Atlanta Collaborative and Stroll Coffee y Snacks, Feel Goods Pizza will include two kitchens, one fully dedicated to serving gluten-free pizza and other dishes.

Three Taverns Ponce Brew Terminal
Signal House, 680 North Ave., Old Fourth Ward

A third location of Three Taverns Craft Brewery called Three Taverns Ponce Brew Terminal will open this fall on the ground floor of the Signal House complex along the Eastside Beltline next door to Ponce City Market. The brewery, distillery, and taproom will also serve food from local barbecue restaurant DAS BBQ, which includes locations in Grant Park, on Collier Road, and a takeout spot inside a container in front of the Forth Hotel.

Barrel Proof
Westside Side Provisions District, 1198 Howell Mill Road

It appears a location of New Orleans-based cocktail and whiskey bar Barrel Proof will open later this year in the former Little Trouble space at Westside Provisions District, according to Tomorrow’s News Today.
