
Tossed Out Treasures, hosted by the Sandy Springs Society, returns on March 14-16 for bargain hunters and antique collectors.
The upscale resale event raises funds for Sandy Springs Society grants awarded to non-profit organizations throughout the community, according to a news release.
“During a time of increased costs, this is an ideal shopping experience to discover ‘new to you’ items with none to minimal wear at bargain prices,” said co-chair Anna Cay Robertson, according to the release. “Word continues to spread, and each year the lines get longer as everyone is eager to find incredible treasures.”
Tossed Out Treasures will be in the Parkside Shopping Center at 5920 Roswell Road, in the former Tuesday Morning location, courtesy of Jamestown.
Bargain hunters can shop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15. Hours will be from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 16. Admission is free and open to the public from Friday through Sunday.
On Thursday, March 13, a preview party for shoppers who want to find early treasures will be held from 6-9 p.m. The preview party will include a buffet dinner and two drink tickets. Tickets are $50 at the door, the release said.

Tossed Out Treasurers began in 1992, making it Sandy Springs Society’s longest-running fundraiser. Community members and Sandy Springs Society members donate new and gently used items, that are sold at significantly reduced prices. the release said. The event showcases repurposed furniture, jewelry, designer clothing, accessories, antiques, home decor, children’s items, books, sports memorabilia, and more.
In 2024, the Society raised more than $125,000 breaking previous records. The organization awarded $370,000 in 2024 to 42 nonprofit organizations that serve Sandy Springs.
