Buckhead Village is set to once again host the annual Bodacious Blooms Flower Festival from May 1-3.

Now in its fourth year, the community-wide celebration is inviting visitors to experience a weekend filled with floral-inspired events — including installations, workshops and more.

Headlining this year’s event is Schumacher, a 135-year-old design house renowned for its luxury fabrics, wallpapers, trims and furniture.

Amidst the festivities, Schumacher’s veranda will be decorated with wallpaper created by artist Mary McDonald, featuring designs that include “elegant birds and flowering peony trees,” according to a release.

The display will be available to view from May 1 until the end of June.

Joining the festivities is accomplished floral designer Canaan Marshall, who recently competed on the HBO Max series Full Bloom.

During the festival, Marshall will create a live floral installation, as well as host a floral arranging workshop — where guests can design their own centerpiece under his tutelage.

Among the event highlights of the three-day festival is the Sip & Stroll (where guests can wander the streets of Buckhead Village, browsing numerous boutiques and storefronts with refreshing cocktails in hand), and the buckheadRUN! 5K (a race that encourages participants to dress up in animal costumes, with the chance to win prizes).

Other events taking place throughout the festival include a floral pasta-making class, a “Kentucky Derby Party” at The Southern Gentleman, a DIY bouquet workshop and more.

In addition to the events, several flowery activations will be in full bloom at various businesses throughout Buckhead Village.

Over the course of the three days, retailers and restaurants such as Abbey Glass, KULE, Saint Germain, Emilia George, Carmel and Gypsy Kitchen will offer floral-inspired drinks and desserts, gifts with purchase, discounts on flower-inspired products and more.

Tickets for the Bodacious Blooms Flower Festival and a full schedule of events are available on the Buckhead Village website.
