Lime has partnered with the South Downtown redevelopment and local arts nonprofit Eyedrum to create dedicated parking spaces for its electric scooters and bikes.

The collaboration launched June 4 with a ribbon-cutting for three artist-designed parking corrals in South Downtown. The corrals are located at the corner of Ted Turner Drive SW and Mitchell Street.

The corrals are designed to be easy for riders to spot and use, while maintaining an attractive and orderly streetscape, according to Carol Antunez, Senior Manager of Government Relations at Lime..

The corral installations were created with one of Eyedrum’s local artists, Dosa Kim of HighContrast.

“It’s an honor to contribute public artwork that not only enhances the city’s infrastructure but also represents the voices of its local creative community,” said Dosa Kim. “We’re excited to create more corrals in the future that showcase the city’s vibrant creative community.”

Antunez said the South Downtown installation was the first in a network of Downtown corrals. She noted these corrals were the first time Lime had commissioned work with a private partner, with more to come in the future ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The electric vehicle sharing company, which recently launched its newest LimeBike model in Atlanta, said riders have taken over 5.5 million rides in the city since the company arrived in 2018.
