School calendars are crucial for parents who need to know when holidays and other events are scheduled. Here, we’ve included a copy of the 2025-2026 Fulton County Schools calendar so that you can plan for the upcoming year.
Fulton County Schools includes several schools in the cities of Johns Creek, Alpharetta, East Point, College Park, Fairburn, Milton, Roswell, Chattahoochee Hills, Sandy Springs, Union City, Hapeville, and Palmetto.
First day of school
The first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year in Fulton County is Mon., Aug. 4, 2025.
Holidays and breaks
The first break is Labor Day on Mon., Sept. 1, 2025.
Fall Break is Mon., Oct. 13–Fri., Oct. 17. Classes resume on Mon., Oct. 20, 2025.
Tues., Nov. 4 is a Teacher Workday and Election Day.
The Thanksgiving break will begin on Mon., Nov. 24, 2025, and end on Fri., Nov. 28, 2025.
Winter break will start on Mon., Dec. 22, 2025, and end on Mon., Jan. 2, 2026. There is a Teacher Workday Mon., Jan. 5, the second Semester begins on Tues., Jan 6, 2026.
MLK Holiday is Mon, Jan. 19, 2026.
Mon., Feb. 16 is a remote Teacher Workday, and Tues., Feb. 17 is a Professional Development Day.
Mon., March 16 is also a Professional Development Day.
Spring break will begin on Mon., April 6, 2026, and end on Fri., April 10, 2026.
Finally, the last day of school will be Thur., May 21, 2026.
