The best of Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ nightlife will gather at Lips Atlanta on Aug 4 for Wussy Mag’s third annual Peachies Awards. Attendees will walk the peach carpet and celebrate the winners of Atlanta’s best in queer nightlife – from DJs and drag kings to party promoters and venues.
Wussy kicked off the inaugural Peachies in 2023, and since then, the event has been the premier opportunity to celebrate the nightlife contributions of Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ community. Winners of each category are determined through public votes.
This year’s event, hosted by Nicole Paige Brooks (“RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10”) and EllaSaurus Rex (winner of “Atlanta All-Stars”), will include performances by 2024 Peachies winners:
Aries ALXNDR: Drag King of the Year
Boy Howdy: Favorite Drag Newcomer
Brie Fromage: Burlesque Performer of the Year
Cici Nicole: Musical Artist of the Year
Drew Friday: Entertainer of the Year
Poptart: Comedian of the Year
Doors are at 6 p.m. before the show starts at 7 p.m. – seating is first-come, first-served. The night will conclude with an afterparty at Lore on Edgewood Avenue. Tickets for the 2025 Peachies Awards are available for purchase here.
