Taste Brookhaven, now in its sixth year, will be held Oct. 2 from 6-9 p.m. at Brookhaven’s newly completed City Centre.

The event, “where the city’s vibrant food scene comes together for Taste Brookhaven, a one-night, all-inclusive celebration of flavor, art, music, and community,” will offer for the first time a VIP experience that will include early admission and a rooftop reception, according to a release from Explore Brookhaven.

More than 20 restaurants and other vendors will be on hand to showcase Brookhaven’s food scene, said Explore Brookhaven Marketing Manager Megan Brown. People who purchase either general admission or VIP tickets will have unlimited access to food and drink, including wine, handcrafted cocktails and local brews.

The evening will feature music from the band Lovestruck, and an artistic element with a yet-to-be-announced local artist. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

“We thought it was very fitting to raise money for Children’s, as the new Arthur Blank Hospital building is located in Brookhaven,” Brown said.

Tickets are on sale now. Guests who opt for the VIP experience, which includes early admission and a private rooftop cocktail hour, will pay $125. General admission tickets are $85 apiece.
