Spooky season culminates this weekend with Halloween and Day of the Dead celebrations happening across Metro Atlanta for kids and adults.

Truck or Treat at Brook Run Park
Oct. 30, 5 p.m., Dunwoody
Dunwoody Parks and Recreation, Dunwoody Police and the Dunwoody Homeowners Association present this event, which includes food trucks, live entertainment and trick-or-treating.
Halloween Wedding Ceremonies
Oct. 31, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fulton County Courthouse
Fulton County Probate Court is hosting ‘Til Death Do Us Part” on Friday with free Halloween-themed wedding ceremonies. There will be private costume ceremonies (reservations required by calling 404-612-5485) and a mass ceremony at 3 p.m., no reservations required.
Netherworld Haunted House
Open nightly through Nov. 2, and Nov. 7-8 in Stone Mountain
The long-running haunted house has new thrills an chills this year — “Monsters Attack” and “Oblivion: Return of the Mangler” – with jaw-dropping sets, terrifying creatures, and pulse-pounding effects. Not recommended for kids under 12.

Haunted Seas at Georgia Aquarium
Through Nov. 2, Downtown Atlanta
Get swept away in haunting legends, whimsical characters, and Halloween magic with daily themed dolphin and sea lion presentations. Costumes encouraged for the whole family.
Freakshow: A Queer Carnivale on Edgewood
Oct. 31 starting at 9 p.m. Lore
Head to LGBTQ+ night spot Lore for fortune telling, photo ops, freaky clown Go-Gos, a special drink menu, and drag queens galore.
Fear Festival at Underground Atlanta
Oct. 31, 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., Downtown Atlanta
Billed as the city’s biggest costume party, Fear Festival will take place on Upper Alabama Street. You can then dance the night away at MJQ Concourse and The Masquerade.
Scarecrows in the Garden
Through Nov. 2, Atlanta Botanical Garden
It’s your last weekend to check out creative scarecrows handcrafted by businesses, individuals, schools, and organizations scattered throughout the Midtown garden.
Fright Night

Fernbank is hosting this adults-only Halloween party with dancing, DJs, cocktails, costumes, and more.
Haunting at High Street
Oct. 31, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Dunwoody
Head to the High Street Green for live music, face painting, roaming entertainment, drinks + more. Little ghosts and ghouls can join our trick-or-treat scavenger hunt for goodies.

Halloween at Chattahoochee Food Works
Oct. 31, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Stalls at the food hall will be handing out goolish goodies to kids all day, while a costume contest is set for 9 p.m. DJ Steve will be performing at 5 p.m. Prizes and surprises available for participants and top finishers.
Halloween at Tucker Brewing
Oct. 31, 4 to 9 p.m., Tucker
Wear a costume to Tucker Brewing on Halloween, get $1 off all your beers. Plus a costume contest with the winner taking home a six pack. Rolling Thai Food Truck will be serving in the beer garden, plus the Intoxicologists will be performing.
Trick-or-Treat at Ponce City Market

PCM is hosting a Halloween Trick-or-Treating on Friday. During this free event, participating shops and restaurants will be handing out candy to guests in costume.
Fall Sounds – Halloween Edition
Oct. 31 starting at 5 p.m., Town Brookhaven
Join Town Brookhaven on Friday for a special Halloween Edition of Fall Sounds on the Town Green. Trick-or-treat with the kids, crafts, the “Scare-o-Lers” offering fun music, and llamas in their Halloween costumes.

Parade of the Dead: All Souls Soul Train
Nov. 1, 7 to 8 p.m., Little Five Points
Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons – the masterminds behind the annual Beltline Lantern Parade – invite the community to honor loved ones who have passed with joyful remembrance, dance, and creativity. The event kicks off in front of the Euclid Avenue Yacht Club, featuring live music by the Black Sheep Ensemble and the Krewe’s giant skeleton puppets leading a communal “Soul Train” line dance in the street. After the performance, participants will march down to Elmyr to visit their heartbreakingly beautiful All Souls altar, part of a neighborhood-wide tradition of remembrance. All Souls altars can also be found throughout Little Five Points, including at Little Vinyl Lounge, Little 5 Pub, Yacht Club, and other local spots. There will also be a Night Market with shops open late for the occassion.

Día de Muertos at Oakland Cemetery
Nov. 2, noon to 5 p.m.
The city’s largest Day of the Dead celebration will feature traditional activities such as folkloric dances, crafts, food, and altars honoring lost family and friends. Dress up for the occasion and participate in the Catrinas and Catrines contest for adults and kids. Free.
