The Connector SkyDeck

Student living community The Connector will host the Official Georgia Tech vs. NC State Watch Party on Saturday, Nov. 1, starting at 6:30 p.m. on its SkyDeck Outdoor Theater & Lawn.

The event is free to Georgia Tech students and will feature a massive jumbotron game broadcast, DJs, games, and a raffle for one year of free rent.

The celebration comes as the undefeated Yellow Jackets aim for the College Football Playoffs behind Head Coach Brent Key and standout performers Haynes King, Jamal Haynes, and Malachi Hosley.

The event also marks the launch of a new official partnership between The Connector and Georgia Tech Athletics.

“As students come together to cheer on this incredible team, we’re proud to provide a one-of-a-kind experience that reflects the energy and community spirit of Georgia Tech,” Andrew Layton, Chief Experience Officer of Student Quarters, said in a press release.

“Enhancing the student experience is a top priority for Georgia Tech athletics,” Georgia Tech Vice President and Director of Athletics Ryan Alpert said in the release. “One of the things that we’ve heard from Tech students is that they’d like more opportunities for watch parties when our teams are on the road. We’re proud to partner with The Connector to provide students with an exciting and fun way to come together and cheer on Tech football when the Yellow Jackets put their historic 8-0 record on the line at NC State on Saturday night.”
