Acworth Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a man last seen in Dunwoody.

According to the Acworth Police Department, Kenny Darnell Jackson, 21, was last seen on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at Brook Run Skate Park on North Peachtree Road.

A missing person report supplied by the police said that Jackson, who is 5-foot, 5-inches tall and 150 pounds, was wearing “a light grey sweatshirt, grey joggers, white and black shoes, a black backpack, and carrying a pair of orange and white cleats.”

On the Acworth Police Instagram page, one person posted that he recently met Jackson at Swift Cantrell Park in Kennesaw, which also has a skate park.

“The next time he saw me, he spoke and remembered me,” the post read. “Such a kind respectful young man. I’m 74. He was getting his skateboard out of his car, and I asked him if he could teach me. I told him that I’m old. He replied, saying you’re not too old. I’ll teach you.”

Jackson has tattoos on his left arm from his elbow to his wrist. Police say his vehicle is a silver 2016 Hyundai Elantra with Georgia tag CSG7675.

Anyone with information on Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Guevara at 770-974-1232.

Jackson’s family, stating that it is using private resources to help locate him, has started a GoFundMe page that has already raised more than $17,000.
