1. Generosity abounds on Giving Tuesday
🤝 Each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, millions of Americans participate in Giving Tuesday, a movement that urges people to give back and find their spirit of generosity, helping out their friends, neighbors, and causes they care about.
Giving Tuesday started in 2012 and has since grown into a global movement. If you’re so inclined, there are plenty of Georgia nonprofits that could use your help this year. In the meantime, check out this op-ed from Karen Beavor, CEO of the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, about the importance of our local nonprofits and Giving Tuesday.
