Four metro Atlanta LGBTQ+ youth advocates have been named GLAAD 2025 20 Under 20 honorees. The list, published with Teen Vogue, includes 20 young LGBTQ+ changemakers who are shaping the world through politics, entertainment, faith, and more. The list includes Niama Starr and Treasure Von-Holland from Atlanta and Ritvik Radjan and Vidya Sinha from Marietta.

Ritvik Radjan, 17, and Vidya Sinha, 18

Ritvik Radjan is a high school student, anti-censorship activist and organizer, and Vidya Sinha is a propoentn of anti-censorship, intellectual freedom, and LGBTQ+ media representation, When organizers of the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl quietly removed eight assigned books, mostly by LGBTQ authors, both Ritvik and Sinha launched a winning, statewide anti-censorship campaign. They mobilized dozens of students, gathered messages of support from authors of the actual banned books, and organized a community petition with over 300 signatures. This overwhelming pressure led the organization to reverse its decision and reinstate the challenged books.
