The Sandy Springs Arts Foundation (SSAF) will host ARTBEAT, a free public celebration of student artistry, on Feb. 7, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at the Byers Theatre.

The event will showcase the work of more than 415 students from Ridgeview Charter Middle School, Riverwood International Charter High School, Sandy Springs Charter Middle School, and North Springs Charter High School.

The afternoon will feature more than 100 pieces of 2D and 3D visual art displayed in the Byers Theatre lobby, alongside live performances including dance, chorus, band, orchestra, and rock band.

“Our ARTBEAT event will be a fabulous opportunity for our Sandy Springs-located students to showcase their talent and passion for the arts,” said Jan Collins, SSAF board member and community leader. “Having the opportunity to perform on the grand stage of the Byers Theatre and display their art in the Byers lobby will be a thrill for students and audiences alike.”

SSAF has partnered with participating schools for months to produce and fund the program, which celebrates the diversity, talent, and creative spirit of the Sandy Springs community.

Instead of admission fees, attendees are encouraged to bring boxes of crayons or colored pencils to benefit local elementary schools. Last year, SSAF donated $75,000 to participating schools to support essential arts programming, including instruments, art supplies, software, and other materials often affected by budget constraints.
